Apple reported earnings this afternoon for its most recent quarter, including sales data on the iPhone. The company sold 1,119,000 iPhones in the quarter, bringing Apple's total sales of the device to 1,389,000.
Meanwhile, the company moved more than 10,000,000 iPods in the quarter, a 17 percent increase from the same period ago. Apparently, concerns that the iPhone might slow iPod sales are proving unfounded. Apple’s hot gadgets are also heating up the rest of the company: Mac sales were up by an impressive 34 percent.
