IQzone, the mobile classifieds system, has announced that Tyler Anderson has won the company's Dorm Room Survival Challenge. You may remember the challenge set forth by IQzone a month ago, entailing that Anderson had to use the classifieds service to beg, borrow and steal his way into furnishing his dorm room for the year.
Armed with only a sleeping bag, a computer, a cell phone, the basic necessities, and a $2000 budget, Anderson worked his way up to a leather couch, a queen-size bed, a Sony flat screen TV and surround sound stereo, a Wii game console and more, all through IQzone. He got help from The N, which sent a portable DVD player and some other stuff, OboPay, and plenty of local businesses and students. Anderson got another $1000 in cash for winning the Dorm Room challenge, and a party night on the town.
