Iran's historic public bathhouses may be washing away.

These ancient facilities are more than just a place for men to go to be cleaned, shaved and massaged; they are also a common gathering place to discuss current events and debate ideas. However, the bathhouses, also known as "hammams," are going through rough financial times as modern conveniences now allow showers and baths in most homes across the Islamic Republic.
