She’s fashion's eye of the storm who seems to create a frenzy wherever she lands, whether it’s Paris, New York or Seoul.
Her name is Irene Kim, aka "Hurricane Irene," the nickname she’s been given in South Korea, where the 27-year old has become the country’s biggest model.
It’s apropos of the Seattle native, whose career seems to have become the perfect storm in the past few seasons. In Seoul, her career is frenzied. She's the host of two television shows, is seen walking the finales in a multitude of Seoul Fashion Week runways, is an “it” girl seen at every major party with the country's celebs, and a must-have model in the pages of Vogue Girl Korea and Elle Korea.

But beyond the Asian peninsula, the model has become an Instagram (@ireneisgood) sensation, thanks in part to her bright tresses and even more colorful personality. During New York Fashion Week, she easily became one of the most sought-out girls to photograph for street style photographers. If they are thirsty for shots, she is the well who provides them with splashy photographs and more.

Now signed under Society Management as a "special arrangement" talent, she counts Kendall Jenner, Adriana Lima and Grace Jones as her colleagues.
“I just want to have fun,” she said to Mashable. “I want work hard, do something huge, and have fun. Fashion is fun!”
