The snarky, devil-may-care Tony Stark of Iron Man 1 and 2 is nowhere to be found in the eagerly anticipated Iron Man 3 trailer which dropped on iTunes and YouTube this morning. It will reportedly also show up at today's Apple iPad Mini event; perhaps to show off the new, tinier tablets' content-consumption focus.
Marvel Studios, the studio behind the film, managed to create quite a buzz earlier this week with a 17-second teaser for the trailer. Iron Man 3 is scheduled to open in May 2013.
Though our favorite metal-clad hero looks like he's getting his butt kicked for most of the clip, comic-book geeks will likely thrill over the brief appearance of Iron Man's archenemy Mandarin, played by Oscar-winning actor Ben Kingsley.
