Iron Man Blasts Bad Guys in Free Storybook App

The whole world knows that the armored Avenger, Iron Man, is actually genius billionaire playboy Tony Stark. The high-flying superhero will land in theaters again this May in Iron Man 3, but if your child wants to read up on his adventures before that, check out the latest installment of Marvel Reads.

This line of storybook apps offers an interactive reading experience for kids on iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and iPad mini. The newest release features the Mandarin, Iron Man's arch-nemesis (played by Sir Ben Kingsley in the upcoming film). There's also a 3D mini-game and plenty of customization options for that slick metal suit. But perhaps the most amazing, incredible, uncanny feature of all? Narration provided by legendary comics creator Stan Lee. Previous Marvel Reads apps featured well-known Marvel heroes like Spider-Man and the Hulk, who Lee also co-created.

"Iron Man: Armored Avenger" is available for download in the iTunes Store. While the other apps in the Marvel Reads line will cost you $2.99, the titanium titan's tale is free -- an attractive point for parents and billionaires alike.
