Police in London arrested a man who was walking around Islington wearing a Friday the 13th-style mask, while carrying a samurai sword.

Islington Police said in a statement that they spotted the man Friday morning after responding to a call.

He was wearing a mask similar to the one sported by Jason Voorhees in the horror film, and carrying a large bag. When approached, the man, believed to be 21 years old, ran, and police pursued and detained him.

After opening the bag they found a samurai sword. The man was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and has been taken into custody.
