A bug in iTunes Connect has caused some users to be signed in as a different, random user.

iTunes Connect is Apple's suite of web tools that helps app developers manage their App Store content, including contracts and pricing. Connect users began reporting problems Thursday on Twitter.

After noticing the issue, Apple disabled iTunes Connect, according to reports. Apple acknowledged that iTunes Connect experienced problems from before noon until about 3:30 p.m. ET on its System Status page

Things seemed back to normal by Friday, but this isn't the first time the platform has experienced problems. In March 2014, an issue prevented developers form deploying app updates.

The cause of the bug remains unclear, and Apple has not responded to Mashable's request for comment.
