Back in March, we talked with Tim Huffman on Mashable Conversations, the CEO of iVideoSongs, a company first profiled by our Kristen Nicole, when she took a peek at them during the January DEMO conference:

The goal here is to teach you how to play music accurately, while still giving you the control over your music lessons. iVideoSongs is working with the content owners (i.e. record labels) to get DRM-free benefits that can be extended to the users. That means you can play lessons on your computer, your iPod, or wherever. Lessons can be purchased for about $4.99.

Since then, iVideoSongs has been taking off like gangbusters, coming from nowhere to make it to the top 10 most subscribed podcasts in just a few week at iTune. Naturally, I and my stellar interview are going to take all the credit for this, as there can be no other possible explanation.

All joking aside, with the podcast featuring music legends and hits like Tom Petty, Peter Frampton, Jimmy Buffet, Everclear, Brad Paisley, and Garth Brooks all on a show explaining to their devoted fans the proper ways to play their music as well as the backstories on them and their songs, it's no wonder that this unique piece of Internet entertainment is where it is.

Given this string of success, we wouldn't be surprised to see that being rewarded with investment of some type here in the near future.

If this intrigues you, you can always head on over to iTunes; now that they're in the top 10, they shouldn't be hard to find.  Alternatively, you can check out the conversation I had with Tim regarding his personal history and how it led him to the formation of this company.
