J.K. Trolling is back on Twitter to create some mischief. The Harry Potter author presumably said, "I solemnly swear I am up to no good" before explaining to a fan that reality itself has been altered by the wizarding world.

When a fan tweeted Rowling about the whereabouts of his letter to Hogwarts -- a common request from fans -- the author offered a simple clarification -- we all already went to Hogwarts together.

.@m_abs All these people saying they never got their Hogwarts letter: you got the letter. You went to Hogwarts. We were all there together.— J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) June 7, 2015

It's only natural that even the most obsessive Potter-heads would forget certain details of the complicated magical universe, but it's messed up that we could all forget the seven years we spent together in those hallowed halls. We weren't just reading books, we were experiencing magic.

Rowling even clarified for Muggles who might need a refresher on how fictional magic works.

.@m_abs Of course it happened inside your head, but why on earth should that mean it wasn't real?— J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) June 7, 2015

The author has a habit of updating fans on the evolution of the Harry Potter saga on social media. She has previously apologized for Fred Weasley's fate and showed support of a cross-series Gandalf and Dumbledore wedding.

That Time Turner is getting a lot of mileage.
