Like any proud parent, comedian Jack Vale is instinctively inclined to photograph his daughter's every impressive moment. So in mid-July, the YouTube prankster whipped out his iPhone camera and captured 12-year old Madysyn Rose singing Naughty Boy and Sam Smith's hit song "La La La."
Now the video has reached a massive 17.5 million Facebook News Feeds since July 18.

"It's very exciting, overwhelming and amazing," Madysyn told Mashable. "Singing is what I want to do for the rest of my life, and knowing that millions of people have heard me sing is awesome. It encourages me to keep doing what I love."
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
Madysyn Rose, whose favorite singer is "The Way" pop star Ariana Grande, was practicing for an audition when her father recorded the video.
"It was pretty spontaneous, actually," Vale said. "I love hearing my daughter sing and there was a cool echo in the room ... I'm a proud Dad."
"La La La," the song she covered, was a huge hit in 2013. Its music video, below, has been viewed more than 362 million times on YouTube. Seems its cover song revival came early.
