Jamdat Founders Team Up for Another Startup

[img src="" caption="" credit="" alt=""]How about a super-double-secret startup? Looks like three of the Jamdat Mobile co-founders, Scott Lahman, Austin Murray and Zack Norman, have joined forces again to give this whole startup business another go...for old time's sake. This one is called Gogii, and it's very much in stealth mode. So there's really nothing else to say so far, except that it will be dealing with marketing solutions related to mobile phones, according to PE Hub.

That could mean a great many things. The word Gogii is associated with casual video games already, and we've seen some increased interest in the mobile advertising industry with a high focus on the mobile game arena, as they provide a nice little package that ads can be wrapped up in for delivery straight to the consumer.

As Jamdat was a mobile company that dealt primarily with mobile media, this trio has the experience to dabble in mobile marketing for the game sector, or any other mobile entertainment sector for that matter. While a great many advertising companies are cropping up with different takes on mobile advertising (Ad Infuse just announced another round of funding yesterday), it's clear that the mobile ad sector is ripe for experimental methods.
