Becoming the next 'Late Late Show' host is a Willy Wonka workout

James Corden could explain how he got his start on The Late Late Show, but he'd rather just show you.

After receiving a golden ticket to replace Craig Ferguson as the new host of CBS' late-night show, Corden was put through a series of celebrity-assisted tests to to prepare him for the talk show world. After pushing his monologue, humor, and conversational skills to the limit, he was finally ready to face a real audience.

We all knew the road to become a late night host was rigorous but I don't think anyone thought it would be this rigorous.
