Jamglue, the music collaboration community, is holding a "duet" contest for users to get a chance to sing with the stars, called Double Up.
The current contest is for Jive Records artist R. Kelly's "I'm a Flirt" and users can get the track without the lead singer's lyrics so that their own content can be inserted into the song's track. Use your computer's microphone to record, use Jamglue's mixing features to tweak your song, and then upload it to the site for submission. The winner will receive an autographed copy of R. Kelly's latest album, and their "duet" will be featured on R. Kelly's MySpace page as well.
This contest is a good way to spur user activity, and provide more ways for users to engage in Jamglue's features. The best part about this contest in particular is the way in which Jamglue has showcased some of its major site offerings for the purposes of the contest.
