Your drunk uncle Quentin Tarantino was very on-brand at the 2016 Golden Globes. Apparently concerned that Ricky Gervais just wasn't offensive enough, the director decided to pick up the slack.

When he accepted the Golden Globe award for Best Original Score on behalf of Ennio Morricone for his work on The Hateful Eight, Tarantino referred to the world of film scores as a "ghetto" in the music industry.

Returning to the stage after Tarantino left, all Foxx had to do to shame the director was use his own word against him, repeating "ghetto" and jerking his head in Tarantino's direction.

Foxx starred in Tarantino's previous film, 2012's Django Unchained.

Tarrantino also said that Morricone had "never won an award for any individual movie" before. That's only true if you're not counting the Golden Globes the composer took home in 1987 and 2000. Morricone also has two Grammys and won an honorary Academy Award in 2007.

I feel like Quentin Tarantino also accepted that award for anyone who's ever been drunk in public. #GoldenGlobes pic.twitter.com/o6lRqGGxXZ— Joseph Scrimshaw (@JosephScrimshaw) January 11, 2016
