One of Japan's most active volcanoes erupted spectacularly on Feb. 5 with a fiery blast, sending lava rolling down its slope. Japanese television showed an orange eruption burst out of the side of the volcano, near the summit, accompanied by lightning-like flashes. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
