Federal and state agents raided Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle's home in Zionsville, Indiana, at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to a report from WTHR-TV.

The agents were granted a federal search warrant as part of an ongoing child pornography investigation involving the Jared Foundation, started by Fogle to teach children to live healthier lives, the report stated.

The statement from Subway says Fogle continues to cooperate with authorities and that he expects "no actions to be forthcoming." It said both sides agreed suspending the relationship was "the appropriate step to take."

The statement comes after Subway removed pages referencing Fogle from its website. Fogle's home had been raided earlier Tuesday by federal and state authorities.

Fogle became a Subway spokesman after losing 245 pounds by regularly eating Subway sandwiches.

The investigation started with the arrest of the foundation's Executive Director Russell Taylor in April for child pornography charges. FOX59 reported that a raid of Taylor's home found more than 500 child pornography videos. Investigators haven't said if the raid of Fogle's home is connected to Taylor's arrest.

According to WTHR-TV, Fogle's wife and children left home after the raid began, while Fogle was being detained outside of the home. He was spotted emerging from a truck more than two hours after the initial raid.

The Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children task force is currently removing all electronics from the home and analyzing them in a mobile forensics van that is parked in the driveway, according to local reports.

Subway released a statement on Tuesday afternoon regarding the investigation:

“We are shocked about the news and believe it is related to a prior investigation of a former Jared Foundation employee. We are very concerned and will be monitoring the situation closely. We don’t have any more details at this point.”

Fogle's attorney Ron Elberger released the following statement:

"Jared has been cooperating, and continues to cooperate, with law enforcement in their investigation of unspecified charges, and looks forward to its conclusion."
