David Foster Wallace fans, get your tissues ready. The trailer for the biopic The End of the Tour has finally arrived.

Actor Jason Segel plays the late author, which revolves around the true story of Rolling Stone reporter David Lipsky (played by Jesse Eisenberg) profiling Wallace during a book tour in 1996. The promotional tour was for Infinite Jest, Wallace's critically-acclaimed novel that's over 1,000 pages long.

Much of the film is based on Lipsky's 2010 book about the tour, Although Of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip with David Foster Wallace. The book published two years after Wallace committed suicide at the age of 46.

The film promises to be a heartwarming glimpse into the mind of one of the 21st century's most famous -- and beloved -- authors.

The End of the Tour lands in theaters on July 31.
