WASHINGTON -- It may not make for a bump in the polls, but Jeb Bush got a different kind of bump in Iowa on Wednesday as he was campaigning.

Bush, who has been trying to regain his footing in the Republican presidential primary, was reportedly approached by a man who said he had previously supported Ted Cruz.

The man, identified by CNN as Waukee city councilman Shane Blanchard, told Bush that he had shifted support to Bush.

Then this chest bump happened:

"I do that for every convert," Bush said, according to The New York Times, which reported that Bush had "bumped pectoral regions" with Blanchard.

"Anytime you guys want to try a chest bump, I’m all in," Bush added.

We'll pass.
