CBS may have cut the best parts of Stephen Colbert's chat with presidential candidate Jeb Bush out of the broadcast.

In an online video extra, Colbert makes good on his promise to let a charity raffle winner ask Bush a question, and said winner does not disappoint, delivering a doozy about gun control that leads to a tense exchange between the host and the candidate.

It's a signature Colbert grilling and kinda awesome.

The video is not all serious, though.

The conversation is followed up with a lighter bit in which Colbert helps Bush prep for the upcoming debates and coaches him in Trump-style responses.

These pieces were apparently not the only parts cut from the whole conversation, according to reports from members of the live audience.

There was a segment where Colbert pretended to be Trump by wearing orange cotton candy on his head. He had Jeb! take a bite of it.— Dave Itzkoff (@ditzkoff) September 9, 2015
