Remember all the way back to last summer when "dunk cam" -- throwing down over unsuspecting friends while recording the ambush on Vine -- was the Internet's hottest trend?

Jeremy Lin, newly of the Los Angeles Lakers, may be a year late, but he did pick quite the victim: His own mother. Just look how he victimized the poor woman earlier this week:

But for the haters who think posterizing one's own mother is going too far, Lin has a message, which he posted to Twitter Thursday afternoon:

Many people have said its messed up to dunk on my mom. All i have to say is, she was in the paint...

— Jeremy Lin (@JLin7) August 7, 2014

Cold-blooded, but he's got a point if by "paint" he means "kitchen." Should Lin try the stunt on his new Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant, however, rest assured there'll be some serious hell to pay.
