For one brief day, the world was blessed with the gift of a Jeremy Meeks action figure. Yes, that guy.
Meeks was the man who went viral after his mugshot made it to a the Stockton Police Department Facebook page in late June. He was immediately dubbed the "hot convict," and apparently stole some of the Internet's heart.
A company called That's My Face, which claims to offer "free online facial reconstruction and analysis", took the opportunity to put Meeks' chiseled face on a 12-inch action figure and sell it for an arresting $109. (New York Magazine first noticed the new toy.)

The toy was announced on That's My Face's blog Thursday, with the headline "Handsome prisoner gets dolled up." It also included images of the doll holding a machine gun and posing behind bars. The post has since been taken down.
When Mashable reached out to That's My Face for more information regarding the action figure, we were told by spokesman John Keaton that they were still "currently in contact with Meeks' agent" -- after having advertised the product.
Within an hour, Keaton contacted us again to inform us that the doll would no longer be for sale, due to a "threat of legal action" from Meeks' team.
"Unfortunately, a representative from GR Media, who claims to represent Jeremy Meeks, did eventually get back to us and prefers that we do not publicize our one-off custom figure of Jeremy," Keaton said in an email. "He demanded, under threat of legal action, that we remove the photos of the figure, which we have done."
Too bad. This could have been a real collector's item by 2030.
