Rather than wait for their Facebook fan count to climb organically, JetBlue [Facebook Page] has just launched a carefully crafted campaign to engineer Facebook fan inflation.
The fan-focused campaign, dubbed the All-You-Can-Jet Fan Sweepstakes, revolves around an ongoing promotion where being a fan of the brand on Facebook could net you either free round-trip tickets, comped airfare and a vacation for you and three friends for five days and four nights, or even unlimited free travel on JetBlue for a year.
Becoming eligible for the grand prize -- the JetBlue All-You-Can-Travel-Jet pass -- and the round-trip tickets is simple: Become a fan of JetBlue and submit a ballot via their JetBlue Sweeps Page tab. Fans can also enter daily for extra chances to win these prizes.
In order to win the team prize, which is the four round-trip tickets and a vacation, registrations need to create a travel team using JetBlue's Facebook application. The team creator can then invite three friends to join their team, and while fans can only create one team, they can join the teams of other fans to become eligible for more chances to win.
In addition to the above prizes, JetBlue will giveaway an additional All-You-Can-Travel-Jet pass for every 250,000 fans they accrue during the promotion period, which ends January 31, 2010. Check JetBlue's Facebook Page for official rules and eligibility requirements.
