No, like, seriously. The word itself is "this."

Force Awakens helmer J.J. Abrams spilled as much on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, an all-Star-Wars, all-the-time special featuring an interview with the director, a barrel of Star Wars-themed sketches, and a sit-down with stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver and Carrie Fisher.

But back to Abrams. While his interview was light on new information -- despite Kimmel's best efforts to get him to finally answer a burning question about... the finale of Lost -- we did get a few fun tidbits about Abrams' reluctant path to the Force Awakens director's chair (initially, he turned down the job) and who, exactly, has seen the recently finished film so far (a handful of "friends and family").

Tune into the clip above for the only real "scoop," if that's even the word for it; Abrams' "this" revelation also came bundled with the film's previously released first clip, which pictures Rey (Ridley) and Finn (Boyega) trying to outrun a TIE Fighter.

Oh, and evidently, we shouldn't read too much into the fact that "this" rearranged spells "Sith." Or should we?!

Want more? Here's Abrams discussing the main difference between Star Wars fans and Star Trek fans. (Spoiler: It's that there are a lot more of the former, and their words tend to come with an undercurrent of "if you screw this up, I'll kill you."

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, as if you didn't know, officially hits theaters in the U.S. on Dec. 18.
