LONDON -- In the wake of last Friday's Paris attacks, a French cartoonist has been sketching scenes that celebrate life in France's capital city.

Joann Sfar, who works as an artist, writer and director, started the hashtag #parisisaboutlife in an Instagram post on Saturday.

Since then, Sfar has been sketching vignettes of life around the city as a celebration of what he believes Paris stands for.
