John Boyega will be heading back to Earth for his first major role post Star Wars.
The Attack the Block actor has been cast in the lead role of The Circle, an adaptation of the eponymous Dave Eggers book. He'll chew scenery opposite Emma Watson and Tom Hanks. James Ponsoldt (The Spectacular Now) will direct.
The book, released in 2013, revolves around a girl named Mae Holland who goes to work for an insanely powerful internet company called the Circle. Boyega will play Ty, a founder of the Circle who's described as a "boy-wonder visionary."
