John Malkovich and Siri Ponder Life in Latest iPhone Ad [VIDEO]

John Malkovich has joined Apple's growing list of quirky actors promoting Siri with two new ads highlighting the app's lighter side.

One of the ads, both are by TBWA\Media Arts Lab, shows Malkovich sitting at home and using Siri to plan his night. Realizing his schedule is open, he asks Siri to find a restaurant serving linguica. Then, apparently amused at Siri's functionality, he asks for a joke. "Two iPhones walk into a bar," says Siri. "I don't remember the rest." The enigmatic Malkovich then bursts into a smile.

The second ad, "Life," shows Malkovich uttering that word, which prompts Siri to respond: "Try and be nice to people. Avoid eating fat. Read a good book every now and then. Get some walking in and try to live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations." Satisfied, Malkovich replies, "That's pretty spectacular advice, actually."

The new ads come after Apple rolled out TV spots featuring Zooey Deschanel and Samuel Jackson last month. Though the ads have been well-received, they've also spawned a few parodies, as this one is sure to do as well.
