John Mayer and Katy Perry Look Silly on Fake Bull in New Music Video

"Holding on for dear life!" Perry told her 60 million Facebook fans Tuesday.

To help build buzz for the video, Perry and Mayer on Tuesday's Good Morning America discussed their relationship and their decision to make this song and video.

“The very first thought was you can’t do that ... then the more I thought about just the music part of it, it made perfect sense, even if I didn’t know Katy, it would have made perfect sense," he said. "I went in the other room, called her phone. ... It's a pretty big moving target to be a couple and have a song, but I think there's an authenticity to it when you hear it.”

"It transcends us," Perry chimed in. "It's more about, you know, the message of the song."
