The debate over daily fantasy sports is getting heated enough to prompt people to demonstrate in the streets of New York City. With daily fantasy's future very much in jeopardy, the volume and rhetoric are louder than ever. It's also harder than ever to separate fact from noise pollution.

Luckily, that's where John Oliver comes in.

On the most recent episode of Last Week Tonight, Oliver eviscerates daily fantasy sports in one of his patented rants. He takes apart the ridiculous industry argument that daily fantasy sports are "a game of skill" -- as opposed to gambling -- with particular aplomb.

But the absolute highlight comes around the video's 15-minute mark, when Last Week Tonight spoofs those inescapable daily fantasy TV ads with a more realistic version. It's well worth sticking around for.
