New York City's Port Authority Bus Terminal is the worst place on Earth. No, really -- even John Oliver says so.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey recently sent a cease-and-desist letter to home goods store Fishs Eddy for unauthorized use of Port Authority assets on their dinnerware. Apparently, Port Authority has concerns about its reputation.
Oliver would like to remind the government agency that it also manages the Port Authority Bus Terminal, a three-level transportation hub in mid-Manhattan that's so disappointing, "cockroaches run up to people, screaming, 'Please, get me out of here!'"
But maybe sticking an artsy version of the bus hub on playful dinnerware could help the Port Authority. Maybe.
