Jack Sparrow may be a traitorous drunkard on set, but he has a heart of gold when he's off.

Johnny Depp took a break from filming the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Tuesday to visit children in treatment at the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in Brisbane, Queensland.

The actor showed up in full Jack Sparrow garb, delighting the youths with hugs as well as posing for selfies. Depp then did an interview for Juiced TV -- a show made by the children in treatment Lady Cilento Children's Hospital.

If only the Australian government could treat Depp's dogs with the same love the actor gave these children.
