All those forces of love and hate collided in a perfect storm on Wednesday night at the ESPYs, ESPN's annual awards banquet for the sports world. This year's edition was hosted in Los Angeles by the Mad Men star.

Hamm riffed on a number of topics between awards presentations and special features, but his funniest -- as well as cruelest jokes -- may have been reserved for Howard. Howard, among the NBA's biggest names, took the basketball world through a ponderous free agency process earlier this summer before signing with the Houston Rockets after one massively hyped but equally disappointing season with the L.A. Lakers.
