Jason Jones Takes 'Daily Show' Reins After Jon Stewart Calls in Sick

The show must go on!

Daily Show correspondent Jason Jones filled in for Jon Stewart on Tuesday night, quipping that his boss had some disease he couldn’t pronounce, but was sure that only people from New Jersey could catch it.

Stewart has driven The Daily Show since taking over as host from Craig Kilborn in 1999. The last time he stepped away from the show was in 2013 to direct a film, during which John Oliver filled in.
