U.S. gymnast Jordyn Wieber is having a rollercoaster of a week.
Wieber's performance on Monday placed her out of the individual all-round final. However, the team victory on Wednesday was the first team gold medal for U.S. women's gymnastics since 1996 and only the second time in history the Americans have captured the Olympic team title.
Throughout Wieber's high and low moments, Twitter fans cheered her on, coining a nickname similar to Justin Bieber's fan community: "Weliebers."
So what does a 17 year-old Olympian do after winning a gold medal? Try to meet Justin Bieber, of course. Coincidentally, Wieber has a major crush on the Biebs. She's hoping her gold medal will be enough to convince the singer to meet the "Fab Five."
