UPDATED 11:31 a.m. ET: Jose Canseco's tweets are reportedly part of a hoax by the former baseball player. His finger did not fall off during a poker tournament, according to TMZ.
Anything weird happen to you this week? No matter what it was, odds are, it probably wasn't as strange as what happened to Jose Canseco.
The ex-MLB player said he recently shot his finger off, then it was surgically reattached. But that isn't even the strangest part. Canseco then claimed his finger fell off again during a poker tournament Thursday night. He went into detail about the smell of the finger, and how he put the appendage in his freezer. We aren't sure if he's kidding about that last part, but you be the judge.

First, Canseco, who maintains a reliably odd Twitter presence, cryptically tweeted on Friday about "something crazy" that had happened to his finger at the poker tournament.

A few hours later, he abruptly came clean about the whole incident.
