LOS ANGELES -- Oliver Stone's Snowden is still shooting in Germany, but an image from the top secret project has already out in the open.
OK, so it's no huge secret. This photo of Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the exiled former government computer contractor who exposed the doings of the NSA was released by Open Road Films. But it's still pretty compelling.
The photo depicts Levitt as Snowden before his whistle-blowing days. It's almost hard to believe he was once just an anonymous guy.
Snowden, which is on location in Munich but shooting all over the world, hit theaters this Christmas.
