LONDON -- Three judges have been sacked after they were caught using office computers to view pornography.

District judge Timothy Bowles, immigration judge Warren Grant and deputy district judge and recorder Peter Bullock were all removed from judicial office after an investigation found they were using their work computers to look at porn in their offices, the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office said in a statement Tuesday.

Another judge, Andrew Maw, was also found to have looked at similar material and has since resigned. The four judges were not linked in any way.

The inquiry found that the judges were not viewing any images of children or other illegal content, but concluded what what they were doing was "an inexcusable misuse" of their computers and not acceptable conduct for a judge.

Judge Bowles sat at Romford County Court, Judge Bullock in the North Eastern Region, Judge Grant in the Immigration and Asylum Chamber in London and Judge Maw at Lincoln County Court.

The judges are not expected to appeal the decision.
