"Are you alone out here?"

It might not have a full-blown "Bear Necessities" musical number, but the first trailer for Disney's live-action version of The Jungle Book is led by Scarlett Johansson's unmistakable voice -- and it packs plenty of thrills.

Disney previously unveiled a six second teaser that gave a first look at Mowgli in all his red-shorts glory. The full trailer offers glimpses at the wild boy's jungle friends and foes as well -- plus an echo of a beloved scene from the original movie, in which Mowgli sits atop a floating Baloo's stomach.

In addition to Johansson as the sinister snake Kaa, Jon Favreau's highly anticipated take on the 1967 animated film stars young newcomer Neel Sethi as Mowgli, with Idris Elba (Shere Khan), Lupita Nyong'o (Raksha), Bill Murray (Baloo), Ben Kingsley (Bagheera) and Christopher Walken (King Louie) rounding out the stellar cast.

The Jungle Book is set to be released in theaters on April 15, 2016.
