Warner Bros. dropped a third trailer for blockbuster Jupiter Ascending, providing a deeper look at its intergalactic plot.
The film follows protagonist Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) as she embraces her role as the reincarnation of the universe's queen, and tries to regain her throne from the villainous Balem (Eddie Redmayne). Caine (Channing Tatum) serves as Jupiter's protector and love interest, battling aliens on her behalf (every girl's dream).
“You’ve been taught that the birthplace of the human race is Earth,” Stinger (Sean Bean) says in the trailer. “But it’s not.”
Directed by the Wachowskis (The Matrix Trilogy, Cloud Atlas), Jupiter Ascending is full of dramatic action and spectacular visuals. That's no surprise, considering Warner Bros. pushed the release date back from July 2014 to perfect the film's special effects, Variety reported.
