LOS ANGELES -- Most of the stars of the original Jurassic Park managed to escape before the rampaging Tyrannosaurus rex made a meal out of them, but that doesn't mean she's gone.

As Slashfilm reported Wednesday, she'll be back for Jurassic World -- yep, the exact same dino -- just a lot older, wiser and more pissed off.

T. rex has been chilling on Isla Nublar all this time, and seeing as she was more or less full-grown when that film came out in 1993, she's getting a little long in the tooth -- er, teeth. Very big, long teeth. (The Tyrannosaurus rex was only half-grown by 15 and had an estimated lifespan of just under 30 years, so the film's dino is old-old).

And in Jurassic World, she's gonna get hers.

"This movie is her Unforgiven," director Colin Trevorrow said during a set visit by Slashfilm, which also reported that she's a little slower, and has some battle scars and tightened skin to show for the 22 years since we last saw her.

Trevorrow also told Slashfilm that Jurassic World will introduce some dinos we haven't yet seen onscreen, including the mace-tailed Ankylosaurus (see image, below) and a "new kind of flying dinosaur that no one’s ever seen before, you know, in addition to the Pteranodons that are really scary."
