Justin Bieber closes out the AMAs in a sea of tears

Bieber's tears cannot be contained by his tear ducts, so now they fall from the sky.

Justin Bieber closed out the American Music Awards with a medley of singles from Purpose, including Where Are Ü Now," "What Do You Mean" and "Sorry." And in typical sad boy victory lap style, the performance concluded with artificial rain to mimic the devastation within.

He began with a pensive acoustic performance, as one does when asserting themselves as a serious artist with feelings.

Then Bieber and his bros lit up the dance floor.

But we were all really there for the feelings, and Bieber delivered in a tear-soaked finale.
