Justin Bieber knows he should not get cornrows, and yet, here we are.

Apparently swayed by his current squeeze, Hailey Baldwin, who is the daughter of Stephen Baldwin, Bieber got them against even his better judgement. Bieber, now is the time to say sorry.

Hailey made me get corn rows like an absolute douche bag, these will be off tomorrow trust me Danny A photo posted by Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) on Jan 4, 2016 at 11:35am PST

He posted the shot to Instagram -- possibly mocking the hairstyle while posing with the woman who did his hair -- and admitted that he looks, "like an absolute douche bag."

What makes this especially concerning is that Bieber has previously involved himself in the conversation about cultural appropriation when he defended his friend Kylie Jenner, as Bieber scholars may remember. Hunger Games actress and activist Amandla Stenberg criticized Jenner's cornrows.

"When u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter," Stenberg commented on Kylie's Instagram. In return, Bieber asked her to give Kylie a break, since apparently she was just suffering from her own privilege.

Whether or not Bieber learned anything from the Great Cornrow Row of 2015, he took out the hairstyle as promised. But he still looks like a douchebag.
