The Beliebers are working overtime in Australia.

Justin Bieber's new album, Purpose, grabbed the top spot on the ARIA Albums Chart in Australia, beating out the competition from One Direction's Made in the A.M., which was released on the same day.

It's Bieber's third number one album down under.

One Direction nabbed the second spot, knocked out out of the number one position for the first time. Each of their past four albums previously opened at number one.

Bieber has also been having a great time stateside, with Purpose opening at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. One Direction followed closely, grabbing the second spot.

Thus far, Purpose has sold a whopping 522,000 copies, the biggest opening ever for young Biebs.
