Justin Bieber went from all smiles in an orange jumpsuit to a disgruntled teen cloaked in shades and a black hoodie leaving the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami on Thursday afternoon.

The 19-year-old pop star was charged with driving under the influence on Thursday, resisting arrest and driving with an expired driver's license in Miami Beach, Fla., according to Miami Beach police. He was arrested at 4:13 a.m. ET and released at 2 p.m.

Bieber was allegedly uncooperative after he was pulled over. However, when released after posting a court-issued $2,500 bail, the singer cordially waved to fans atop of a black Cadillac Escalade before he was chauffeured off the premises. Like basically any normal Bieber appearance, the correctional center was swarmed by fans, media and paparazzi.

Miami Beach Police Chief Raymond Martinez spoke with the media about Bieber's arrest on Thursday after his release. According to the Miami Herald, Martinez said that Bieber was under the influence of drugs, as shown by roadside sobriety tests. He declined to comment further, but a police source allegedly told the Herald that Bieber admitted to "smoking marijuana, taking prescription anti-depressants and had a beer or two."
