Justin Bieber tweeted this week that maybe, just maybe, he would be hosting and performing on Saturday Night Live. Well, it's a fact now: He will do just that on Feb. 9.

Billboard confirmed the news in the 18-year-old's speculative tweet Tuesday and also flashed back to his previous SNL appearance and performance in April 2010.
Bieber's tweet to his nearly 33 million followers attracted almost 50,000 retweets and 35,000 favorites within 24 hours, so anticipate his SNL showing to net significant Twitter chatter.
His fourth album, Believe, came out in June and reached number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart, while the songs "Boyfriend" and "As Long As You Love Me" both peaked in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
Upcoming SNL episodes will feature Jennifer Lawrence (host) and The Lumineers on Jan. 19 as well as Adam Levine (host) and Kendrick Lamar on Jan. 26.
