Justin Kan, founder of streaming sites Twitch and Justin.TV, woke up Saturday morning to find that someone had scrawled a racist epithet on the garage door of his Duboce Triangle home in San Francisco. Around 3:38 a.m. local time, a hooded figure walked up to the house and scrawled, "F*ck you g***."

In an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, Kan said the incident was "pretty messed up" and he was certain the graffiti was intentional: "He knew who we were. It’s pretty unsettling."

Kan posted footage taken from his Nest surveillance system showing the perpetrator at work.

The vandal appears to be wearing a "Dropbox" hoodie but Kan later tweeted he didn't suspect the perp of having worked at the company. In the tweet, Kan also made reference to Y Combinator, the seed fund that makes small investments in start-ups and offers guidance throughout the start-up's life span. Kan is a partner at Y Combinator and Dropbox is one of the companies that has received funding from Y Combinator.

The suspect is still at large.

ironically he was wearing a hoodie from a YC startup -- pretty sure not an employee though!— Justin Kan (@justinkan) August 15, 2015

Later, Kan posted a humorous tweet showing the garage door after a neighbor had, without his permission, painted over the graffiti.

Kan founded Justin.TV in 2007 with funding from Y Combinator and it later spun off video game streaming site Twitch. In early August 2014, Justin.TV was shut down so the company's focus could be focused on Twitch. But just a few weeks later, it was announced that Kan was selling Twitch to Amazon for nearly $1 billion.
