It's natural for Aussies to take a dip when the heat turns up Down Under -- including the land-dwelling kangaroo. This kayaking fisherman got quite the surprise when he noticed a local bobbing up and down beside him in Hume, near Australia's capital city, Canberra.
Australia's national symbol is definitely not adverse to the occasional swim though, with other furry mates around Australia loving a swim at the beach or in the closest swimming pool.
It doesn't mean they're all great swimmers though, one had to be rescued recently from a family's pool in the Australian suburbs.
