Kangaroos Invade Australian Golf Course

There are upsides to playing golf in Australia -- sunny weather, cheerful locals, things like that. Then there are downsides -- like cavalier kangaroos who do whatever they want whenever they want because there's nothing you can really do to stop them.

The photo above of kangaroos invading a fairway during the Women's Australian Open at Royal Canberra Golf Club on Valentine's Day has become a viral sports hit. But the 'roos aren't the only feral hazards Down Under this week -- a Swedish contestant reportedly used a golf tee to extract what she thought was poisonous venom after being bitten by a spider during a qualifying round for the same tournament.
