Kanye West told America and the world that he wants to run for President of the United States in 2020 during the best part of the 2015 VMAs, shortly after declaring "I'm not a politician, bruh."

And you know what? He's not a politician. He's a leader and a genius. And that's what makes Yeezy 2020 so beautiful and pure. If you need further proof, please turn to voice of a generation Jaden Smith, who took a break from drinking boxed water to raise his fist in support.

Of course, we the people have a lot to say about a potential Kanye presidential bid. There were a lot of Donald Trump comparisons, which is just rude. People threatened to move to Canada, as Americans do whenever anything they mildly disagree with happens. But having an entertainer as a commander in chief is not unprecedented -- have you heard of an actor named Ronald Reagan?

Team Yeezy offered its support and showed that it's ready for Kanye and his presumably pro legalization of marijuana platform. Kanye West: good for America, and good for Twitter.
