Sunday night, Kanye West will be awarded the MTV VMA Vanguard Award, honoring a lifetime (more like a decade) of being at the forefront of music, fashion and conceitedness.
Sure his Grammys and clothing line put him in the running to win this award, but what accomplishments really set him apart from his peers?
